The Perry County Board of Commissioners have accepted a grant from Department of Human Services (DHS) for the Emergency Rental Assistance Program (ERAP).

The purpose of ERAP is to provide financial assistance to eligible households to pay rent, rental arrears, utilities, utility arrears, and other related housing expenses incurred due, directly or indirectly, to COVID-19. Applicants must meet household income guidelines and provide supporting documentation.

All applicants are processed with utmost concern in establishing financial assistance and housing stability.  In instances where eviction and utility shut off are eminent a diligent effort will be made to retain residency and utility service.

Applications will be accepted from March 8, 2021 until December 31, 2021 or until funds are depleted.
