Perry County is seeking a full time Correctional Officer at the Perry County Prison until July 24, 2026. The primary duties include:
- Care, custody and control of the inmates committed to the prison facility
Successful candidate must possess:
- High school diploma or GED required
- 6 months law enforcement/security or similar experience preferred
Compensation includes a starting pay of $24.43/hour. Perry County employment offers a comprehensive benefit package that includes generous paid leave, a county retirement plan, and health, vision, life and dental insurance after a 90-day probationary period.
